What the school says...

3 Dimensions School is a small Independent Special Educational Needs (SEN) school for up to 12 boys and girls with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) based in Somerset. The School specialises in delivering an educational curriculum to pupils with autism, challenging behaviour, LD and/or other related communication difficulties through a positive behaviour program which includes applied behaviour analysis (ABA)/verbal behaviour (VB) approach.

At 3 Dimensions School children have access to 1:1 teaching for new and challenging skills and as skills become acquired the expectation is to gradually build to small group learning. 3 Dimensions provides a holistic approach where all staff have knowledge and understanding of ASDs, health issues and promotion of good health and self care and receive induction and ongoing training including ABA/VB approach and makaton. Day tuition or boarding is available. The school also offers respite services in a homely environment available from 1 day a week to 24/7 respite.
