What the school says...
Crosfields is a thriving day school that welcomes girls and boys from 3-16 years of age. We blend tradition with modern approaches to education preparing the children not only for their next steps but for the demands of the world into which they are going.

What The Good Schools Guide says
Head
Caroline Townshend BSc PGCE. Grew up near San Francisco in lovely Redwood City, California. Moved to the UK in year 7 and attended two independent schools before asking her parents if she might please go to the local grammar (Chesham Grammar in Bucks) – ‘which I loved,’ she says. Read psychology at Southampton University and got her PGCE in secondary science with biology specialism through Goldsmiths.
Taught psychology and biology at St John’s, Leatherhead, where she set up the lower school for pupils aged 11-13. Went on to become head of Eaton Square senior school, managing an upward expansion, not unlike the one currently underway at Crosfields, and overseeing the school’s first GCSE cohort. Lives on site with her husband and three young children – the two eldest attend Crosfields....
