What the school says...
We are delighted to introduce you to our dynamic and nurturing school. At Liberty Woodland, our goal is to cultivate confident, creative and compassionate individuals who are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities of the future.
We take pride in offering a balanced, child-centred education that focuses on the development of both academic excellence and essential life skills. Our approach encourages students to be critical thinkers, problem-solvers and effective communicators. By fostering independence and resilience, we empower our students to take ownership of their learning and to approach new situations with curiosity and confidence.
At Liberty Woodland, we value character development as much as academic achievement. Our students are guided to be empathetic leaders who respect the perspectives of others and work collaboratively to make positive contributions to their communities. We prioritise social-emotional growth, helping children develop strong self-awareness, emotional intelligence and a sense of responsibility toward others.
We are deeply committed to creating an environment where every child feels happy, valued, supported and inspired to reach their full and unique potential. Through a rich, engaging curriculum that blends traditional academics with hands-on experiences, our students are encouraged to explore their passions, think creatively and approach challenges with a growth mindset.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about Liberty Woodland School. We are excited to be part of your child’s educational journey and to work together in shaping the confident, capable and compassionate leaders of tomorrow. ...Read more

Special Education Needs
Liberty Woodland School values the abilities, achievements and contribution of all its pupils. At Liberty Woodland School we believe that every child should be able to learn in a safe and supportive environment that allows them to reach their potential. We are committed to providing all children with additional needs access to the best possible environment for learning, together with children without additional needs. Our priority is to provide the highest quality teaching and a learning environment in which all children can contribute fully and feel valued; our intention is that every child should be given full access to their educational entitlement with opportunities to build resilience and learn without limits. Nurture is a core principle at the heart of all that we do. Within our inclusive, holistic provision, the SEND aims of the school are: - to provide differentiated and personalised support appropriate to the individual’s needs - to ensure the identification of all children requiring SEND support as early as possible in their school journey - to enable all children with SEND to participate fully in the life and learning of the school - to work in close partnership with parents/carers of children with SEND - to create an environment where children with SEND can contribute to their own learning, where they feel safe and listened to We believe in positive intervention, removing or adjusting barriers to learning, maintaining high expectations, and working in partnership with other agencies in order to provide a positive educational experience for children with a special educational need or disability. A child will be identified as having a special educational need in one or more of the following areas: communication & interaction (including autistic spectrum disorders), cognition and learning (including specific learning differences), social, emotional and mental health, and sensory and physical needs. When a child’s needs have been identified or diagnosed, additional SEN support can be provided. This is support that is additional to and different from that which is available to all.
