What the school says...
Mill Hill International provides a bridge to the international pupil’s next school, whether at Mill Hill School or other renowned British boarding schools. Whether pupils are arriving in the UK for the first time, or returning after a period abroad, at Mill Hill International we aim to help them make this transition smooth and, whilst focusing on academic development, make sure that each pupil can exploit their talents so that their stay is both enriching and rewarding.
Pupils come to Mill Hill International from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds, but they all share a commitment to study and a strong sense of purpose with high expectations. This, added to our passionate approach to teaching, makes for a dynamic learning environment where pupils can achieve their very best.
In addition to the impressive resources of the Mill Hill International campus, we also have use of Mill Hill School’s sports facilities, including the indoor heated swimming pool and sports hall, theatre and music school. Our pupils are fully integrated with those from Mill Hill School for the Saturday morning study programme, which offers pupils a range of options such as revision and extension classes, cookery and information technology.
Class sizes are small, with a maximum of twelve students per class, and teachers are qualified or trained in teaching English as an additional language. Pupils thrive academically in a nurturing environment which prepares them not only for success in examinations but also in life skills; our pupils are confident and committed and engage not only with the culture of the School but also with the many and varied cultures of its pupil body. ...Read more
