Since 2022, Ms A Lomax, formerly vice principal since 2014. Previously head of sixth form at Seven Kings High School. BA in sociology from Leeds, PGCE (social sciences) from Leicester. Has over 13 years of A level experience teaching sociology and psychology.
Entrance
Entry comes mainly from the nine ‘partner’ schools in Newham – most are 11-16 academies. There are a small number of students from Tower Hamlets, Tottenham and Waltham Forest, and few may have to commute for up to an hour. ‘We’re quite determined that this will remain a school that serves Newham and students from east London, not least because of the work demands we make,’ school insists.
